Your Judges and Helpers

Prof. Dr. Peter Friedrich
ADRK Judge
Peter Friedrich, born in Mainz/Germany in 1958, started training dogs in the field of Schutzhund /IPO/IGP trials and tracking trials in 1970. He joined the Allgemeiner Deutscher Rottweiler Klub (ADRK) in 1980, worked almost daily as a helper in protection work for over 25 years and is a member of the Rottweiler kennel “vom Sternbogen.” In 1990, he became a working judge and is a breed judge Köermeister through ADRK.

Josh Frizzell
Helper
Hello, my name is Josh Frizzell. Over the past eight years, I’ve had the privilege of working in the dog sport world, starting with service dogs, then exploring personal protection and PSA, before finding my true passion in IGP. My journey has been shaped by my incredible mentor and club members who have generously trusted me with their dogs and guided me every step of the way.
I approach every event with the goal of supporting the dogs and showcasing their best work. As a helper, my focus is always on their well-being, and I take pride in suiting up with that responsibility in mind.
I've been fortunate to learn from and work alongside some exceptional training helpers, including Randall Hoadley, Jan Van Maren, and Attila Takacks, among many others who have influenced my growth. My experience includes 11 club trials, the AWMA Southern Regionals (2024 & 2025), the USCA South Central Regional IGP Championship (2024 & 2025), and the UDC Nationals 2025.
Thank you for the opportunity to be a part of your dog’s journey. I’m honored to be on the field with you.

Lars Kamp
Helper
Hello, my name is Lars Kamp. I’m 26 years old and proud to call the beautiful town of Moers, Germany my home. My journey with dogs began early, growing up surrounded by Rottweilers in my mother’s kennel, vom Hause Kamp.
At the age of 15, my passion for dog sport was ignited thanks to the guidance and inspiration of my instructor and role model, Eric Joseph—a person to whom I remain deeply grateful.
In 2016, I earned my helper’s license through the ADRK. A year later, I had the honor of working my first major event, the ADRK DM 2017 in Borken Burlo—an event that still holds special meaning for me. Since then, I’ve had the privilege of participating in several national events including the ADRK DM 2019, ADRK WM 2019, ADRK DM 2021, and ADRK DM 2023, as well as various ADRK licensing events.
In 2019, I expanded my path in the sport by obtaining my DVG helper’s license, which allowed me to work multiple state championships and, most notably, the 2023 Bundessiegerprüfung. That same year, I also received the SV teaching assistant license from LG Westfalen.
One of the highlights of my journey so far was being selected as a helper for Part 1 of the VDH DM 2023 in Hechingen, an unforgettable experience, both as a helper and participant. If asked about my dream event, my answer would be simple: the FCI World Championship.
I am deeply passionate about this sport and dedicate myself fully, working as a helper 5–6 times a week. When training, teamwork with handlers is everything. Working together allows me to bring out the best in every dog. I mainly work Rottweilers, Malinois, and German Shepherds, and I consider myself fortunate to be part of such a dedicated and driven community.
Thank you to everyone who has placed their trust in me. It’s an honor to be part of this event in the United States. It is my goal to bring out the best in your dogs. I wish all participants the very best of luck and great success.
